This place is a breakfast triple threat – Great Coffee, Great Food and Great Jaffles. It starts with the name, Lenny the Ox – provoking thought and assumption, many a coffee has been consumed with thoughts about who, what and why. Hopefully this one mystery that will endure!
The food reflects this ethos with an eclectic mix of offerings, from Porr
idge to Shakshuka Baked Eggs to Jaffles. We have visited a
number of times and have never been disappointed, a favourite of ours are the Jaffles – ‘Pork Belly, Spiced Pear’, ‘Mushroom, Two Cheese, Garlic’, and ‘Ham, Gruyère, Slow Roasted Tomato’. Usually when the menu says ‘Jaffle’ they actually make toasted sandwichs, not at Lenny the Ox, these Jaffles are the real deal and we absolutely love them!!
The baristas are on their game! Whipping up whatever liquid delights you require to kick-start the day. Their green smoothies are to die for, and their coffee is on point – strong and smooth!
Other breakfast delights include the Vegetarian Big Breakfast, Potato Hash & Zucchini with Poached Eggs, and Avocado on Toast with a Poached Egg.
We abosolutley love this place for Breakfast!
